Claire Wu: On Creating New Homes Away From Home, Turning Hobbies Into Thriving Businesses and On Getting Unstuck
Jan 28, 2022 Season 2 Episode 40
Lilian Wee

I have the pleasure of holding the space on the podcast today, for a reflective, honest and intentional conversation with the confident, tenacious, powerhouse of a female, Claire Wu.

Claire is a holistic business and mindset coach by profession and passion and a physiotherapist and movement expert by trade. After spending 15 years healing from her toxic family and environment, she has since successfully launched multiple ventures and investments. In her business coaching, she blends in her expertise in body and movement to help her clients take their business to the next level without overwhelm and burnout.

Originally from Taiwan, Claire grew up in a typical Asian family culture and conditioning where perfection, best school and top grades are used as benchmarks to determine how successful one is and will become. This constant chase for her parent’s praises and affirmation contributed largely to a time in Claire’s life where depression and borderline personality disorder took centerstage. It was with the support received through therapy and lots of reading, curiosity and growth, combined with her love for travel and resilience for change that saw her move away from Taiwan at 18, lived in 3 different continents in the past 10 years and now running multiple successful businesses teaching and serving others in ways that also serves and feeds her heart and soul.
